Ask a Cook Terms of Use
These terms explain the basic rules for using Ask a Cook to discover, reserve and communicate about food prepared by independent local Cooks.
Google Maps services
Address search and maps use Google Maps Platform. By using these features, you agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Distances shown by Ask a Cook are straight-line estimates, not driving routes.
Your account
Keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate contact, delivery and allergen-profile information. You are responsible for activity completed through your verified account.
Orders and food safety
Review the Cook’s current ingredients and allergen declaration before every order. Home kitchens may handle all 14 regulated allergens, and profile highlights do not guarantee that a meal is allergen-free. Contact the Cook before ordering if you are unsure.
Orders, payment and fulfilment
Prices, availability and collection or delivery options are shown during checkout. Your order is confirmed after successful payment. An incomplete checkout is not a confirmed order. Follow the status and collection instructions shown on the order record.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse messaging, attempt off-platform payment, impersonate another person, interfere with the service or use Ask a Cook for unlawful or unsafe activity. Access may be restricted while reported activity is reviewed.
